Dhookudu Mumbai schedule
Mahesh Babu’s upcoming movie ‘Dhookudu’ has completed its Hyderabad schedule. The next schedule of the movie will take place in Mumbai from 25th of this month in which a song and a chase will be canned. The movie is slated for June release.
Srinu Vaitla is directing the movie and Anil Sunkara is producing the movie under 14 reeels Entertainment banner.

Mahesh’s new Idea!
The king of commercial ads Prince Mahesh Babu has bagged one more ad commercial to his credit. He is making his screen presence more on small screen rather on big screens these days with his ad commercials.
He is being offered more and more of ads by the companies as he earned lots of craze among the youth and especially among the girls. The latest ad that Mahesh will be endorsing is for the mobile service provider Idea owned by Aditya Birla group of companies. He is now the brand ambassador of Andhra Pradesh for Idea-An idea can change your life!
Until last year its Siddharth who is the face of Idea but as his one year contact got dissolved in March 2010. Now Idea officials got an idea of bringing Prince Mahesh as the poster boy starting from the financial year April, 2011.
Mahesh will be launching the 3G services into the market and the company’s idea will surely bring some change in business with Mahesh effect.

Mahesh Mani Ratnam movie details
Mani Ratnam’s next project will be based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s popular Tamil historical novel ‘Ponniyin Selvan’. A historic fiction featuring mostly real historical characters and real historical incidents, Ponniyin Selvan narrates the story of Arulmozhivarman, later crowned as Raja Raja Chola, one of the greatest kings in Tamil history.
The star cast of the biggest multi-starrer Ponniyin Selvan is Vijay, Mahesh Babu, Arya and Anushka.
The Ponniyin Selvan team will include Mani’s favourites like A R Rahman, Santosh Sivan, Sabu Cyril and Sreekar Prasad. It is expected to be a big-budget (` 75 to 100 crore) project and will be made in Tamil and Telugu.
Mahesh Dookudu progressing at RFC
Mahesh Babu’s undershoot film Dookudu is progressing its shoot at rapid pace in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Few action scenes are being canned in the schedule which will continue to Old City in a couple of days. Followed by this schedule, the unit will move to Mumbai for canning a song in the film.
Samantha is starring opposite Mahesh in the film and Happy Days fame Sonia is playing an important role. Dookudu is being directed by Srinu vaitla and produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta and Anil Sunkara on the banner of 14 Reels Entertainment Pvt Ltd. Thaman is scoring music for this mass entertainer.

Anushka in Mahesh Maniratnam movie
Anushka and Mahesh are roped into play the lead roles in Mani Ratnam’s upcoming movie. The combination received severe criticism from audience and critics in their disastorous ‘Khaleja’.
However, Mani Ratnam feels Anushka could exactly fit in the role. And the ace heroine is extremely delighted.
